Clothes Closet volunteers are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Terra’s Clothes Closets, including but not limited to:
Terra works with a unique population and volunteers should understand that the requirements of this role will change daily based on Clothes Closet and donation activity. Volunteers are expected to be flexible in their work and to engage with our participants in a positive manner.
Clothes Closet volunteers will work mostly unsupervised in our Clothes Closet locations.
This role is great for someone who is positive, resourceful and energetic. Volunteers should be able to assess the requirements of the Clothes Closets and be committed to empowering teen parents to succeed.
3 to 4 hours one day per week for a minimum of six months. Shifts must be during daytime working hours (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).
