Terra relies on volunteers, financial and in-kind donations to offer services and support our teen parents.
At Terra, our specialized team tailors programs and services to meet the needs of each teen parent. Always safe, never judgemental. Learn more about what we have to offer our young families.
The majority of young parents that connect with Terra are living within limited budgets, which makes our Clothes Closets a much-appreciated support when it comes to accessing free clothing, diapers, formula, toys and hygiene products for their children. Terra has two Clothes Closets. One is located at 10320 - 146 Street, and is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. to all Terra participants. The other is located on-site at Braemar School, and is available for all moms who are enrolled at the school. These Clothes Closets run entirely on donations from the community and are staffed by volunteers.
By providing access to free baby clothes, diapers, wipes and a variety of other items that may not otherwise fit into a young parent’s budget, Terra enables participants to use their resources on other essential items like transportation and nutritious groceries. Additionally, the closets are often stocked with larger items for children such as strollers, swings, high chairs and bouncy chairs, all at no cost.
We believe that the Clothes Closets relieve many financial stressors for our participants. We often see our moms and dads return to make in-kind donations back to our Clothes Closets as they gain financial independence, citing the difference it made in their lives.

The clothes closet gave me so many beautiful things that were a part of many memories with my daughter.
I am so grateful that a place like Terra is out there for young parents to access.
