Help nourish potential for teen parents and their children

At Terra Centre, we know that when young parents and students have access to healthy, filling meals, they can focus on learning, friendships, and their futures. That’s why we’re inviting volunteer groups to join us in supporting food security for teen parent families.

There are two meaningful ways your group can help:

  • Braemar School Lunch Program
Bring and serve lunch for about 35 high school students who are parenting while working toward graduation. Your group can make this a one-time experience, a monthly commitment, or even take on a weekly rotation.
  • Meals for Group Programs
Join us in the Terra community kitchen for a batch cooking session. Together, you’ll prepare meals that can be frozen and served during parenting groups—ensuring families always have something nourishing to share.

Whether you’re part of a workplace team, service club, faith group, or student association, your efforts will help young families thrive.

We are grateful to have the support of teams from Salvation Army, Old Navy, Summit Church, Realtor’s Community Foundation, Rotary Clubs, RBC, University of Alberta Student Services, and many more!
