Terra relies on volunteers, financial and in-kind donations to offer services and support our teen parents.
At Terra, our specialized team tailors programs and services to meet the needs of each teen parent. Always safe, never judgemental. Learn more about what we have to offer our young families.
Our Progress So Far
Thanks to incredible donor support, we are thrilled to have completed the majority of the renovations on the lower level of the building and are currently developing program plans to bring this area to life.
We anticipate the lower level to be fully activated by December 2023.
The lower level will be a hub of participant activity. Because of community support, Terra now has the space to introduce new programs and supports to better meet the needs of teen parents in the community.
We’re proud of the progress we’ve made and are excited to share some photos with you:
Finished Spaces
Since completing renovations, we have been running programs in our Collective Kitchen and Learning Lab. The Food Essentials Pantry is open for participants to access and we have been thrilled to see our families access pantry staples for their homes.
The feedback we have received from participants has been resoundingly positive. We look forward to continuing to activate these spaces in the coming months and plan to have the lower level fully activated later this year.
We are currently fundraising to support the final phase of this project which includes creating an inclusive, barrier-free, welcoming lobby and parent & child engagement space. These spaces will be intentionally designed with teen parents in mind and will build on Terra’s expertise in serving both teen parents and their children.
The total cost to complete the final phase of the project $1M. Learn more about our plans here.
