Job Overview:
The Family Intake Facilitator works within Terra’s Values and Practice Model, fostering relationships, community, and positive outcomes for young parents and their children. As the first point of contact for pregnant and parenting teens, young parents, and families, the Family Intake Facilitator provides a welcoming, trauma-informed, strengths-based intake experience across Terra’s programs and locations.
This role serves as a central access point for participants, helping families identify programs, funding opportunities, and community resources that align with their goals and needs. Responsibilities include coordinating intake processes, conducting screenings and assessments, facilitating program matching, managing referrals and waitlists, and supporting service navigation to ensure timely and equitable access to services.
The Family Intake Facilitator builds trusting relationships with participants, collaborates with internal teams and community partners, and advocates for family needs. Through responsive, inclusive, and participant-centered practices, the role supports engagement, resilience, and positive outcomes for young parents, children, and families.
Job Conditions:
This is a full time (35 hours/week) with flexible hours Monday through Friday, 2 evenings/week, and the occasional weekend based on the needs of families and staff and to support day/evening programming. The office space is split between Terra Centre at 10320 146 Street and Braemar School 9359 67a Street.

Compensation: The starting salary for the position is $47,857.
Upon completion of a probationary period, we offer a comprehensive, competitive, extended health benefits package including RRSP contribution. Staff have three weeks of vacation, and, in addition, the agency is closed between Christmas day and New Years.
