Job Overview:
Reporting to Manager Community Engagement and Stakeholder Relations
This position will play a pivotal role in designing and executing strategies to grow a wider circle of donor support for Terra. This position is dedicated to developing fresh approaches to donor cultivation, stewardship, and retention ensuring a dynamic and personalized donor experience. The position plays a major role in the planning and execution of fundraising and stewardship events, with leadership support. Develop and implement innovative engagement strategies to attract and retain individual donors.
Job Conditions:
The position will be working out of the Terra main office located at 10320-146 Street. This is a full time (35 hours/week) position requiring flexible hours based on fund development events and donor engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Explore innovative fundraising approaches such as peer-to-peer fundraising, and donor networking opportunities.
• Design and execute engaging multi-channel fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, email, social media appeals.
• Track and analyze fundraising performance to refine strategies and improve effectiveness.
• Lead creative donor engagement events, to expand fundraising opportunities
• Identify and implement new fundraising trends, technologies, and storytelling techniques to drive donor engagement.
• Be a leader and ambassador of Terra by practicing in a manner that is consistent with Terra’s mission, vision, values, policies, strategic goals, and practice model.

Police Information Check and Child Intervention Check completed within the last 90 days prior to start date. Processing times may take several weeks to complete these checks. Results will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Manual dexterity required to operate various appliances and equipment. Ability to lift between 25- 50 lbs.
Reliable vehicle, with 1 million vehicle liability insurance, when driving for business purposes
Valid Driver’s License, clear (or Director approved) Driver’s Abstract, current vehicle registration when driving for business purposes

Compensation: The starting salary for the position is $68,577.00
Upon completion of a probationary period, we offer a comprehensive, competitive, extended health benefits package including RRSP contribution. Staff commence with three weeks of vacation, and, in addition, the agency provides gifted days as it is closed between Christmas and New Years. 12 Wellness Days a year are granted.
Terra Centre also offers free onsite or street parking depending on office location. We are also a casual business attire organization.
