Terra relies on volunteers, financial and in-kind donations to offer services and support our teen parents.
At Terra, our specialized team tailors programs and services to meet the needs of each teen parent. Always safe, never judgemental. Learn more about what we have to offer our young families.
We recognize that high school completion is the first step for many teen parents towards achieving their educational and financial goals, but we know dreams don’t stop there. Post-secondary education is an investment and Terra is proud to invest in the future of young parents and support them in this important next stage of their journey.
We are pleased to offer post-secondary scholarships again this year, as a result of generous donor support. We anticipate that we will distribute five scholarships at $1,000 each.
Participants and alumni age 25 and under who are pursuing full-time or part-time post-secondary education as of fall 2019 are eligible. Students returning to post-secondary are also eligible. Post-secondary includes any post high school career training program (i.e. Esthetics at MC College, trades at NAIT, etc.).
For more information, please contact Gracia Hepburn at email@example.com or 780-466-1156 ext 8.
Selection is based on academic progress, overall grades and involvement with school, Terra and the community. If multiple applicants are of equal standing, Terra will ask applicants to demonstrate financial need.
Eligible participants and alumni should submit a 1-2 page (max.) application by Monday, September 16, 2019, with the following information:
