Financial Literacy Group
Where: Brentwood Office – In Person
When: Every Tuesday from April 5th to May 31st, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

What: Join us to learn a variety of financial skills such as budgeting, how to navigate your taxes, different banks and services, and dealing with debt. Dinner and bus tickets will be provided at 5:30pm, and participants will be able to access clothing donations during group. Child minding will be provided but space is limited so RSVP early. Participants who attend the majority of these groups will be eligible for a Walmart or Superstore gift card.
Prenatal Classes
Where: Terra West – In Person
When: 5pm to 8pm April 26 & 27,

What: Dinner will be provided from 5 to 6pm and an Alberta Health Services Nurse will sessions to community members to help prepare them for childbirth. Topics often include when to go to the hospital, the labour process, coping strengths and strategies for both mom and the support person, postpartum care, newborn feeding and care basics, finding credible information on the internet and more. Bus tickets and donations can be accessed at group. This program is free for all participants.
Ready to Work – Drop-In Career Coaching
When: April 13, 20, and 27 from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM
Come to Brentwood House (13744 – 115 Ave) and get support with:
Participants and Community Members up to the age of 29 are invited to this program.
Dads Rec Night
Where: In Person – Location to be Determined
When: 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. April 28th
What: Join other young dads in fun recreational activities and have fun while enjoying a meal together. Bus tickets are provided if needed.

Cultural Teachings are now on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, with the 4th Wednesday being Kohkum teachings and Soup and Bannock. Time is 12:30 – 2:30pm. April schedule is:
