Terra relies on volunteers, financial and in-kind donations to offer services and support our teen parents.
At Terra, our specialized team tailors programs and services to meet the needs of each teen parent. Always safe, never judgemental. Learn more about what we have to offer our young families.
Terra staff and participants are invited to join us for an upcoming sweat lodge ceremony led by Elder Carola Cunningham. This is a women’s teaching, therefore the sweat lodge ceremony is open to women only, however men are welcome to come and have roles as helpers. Both men and women will receive teachings.
What is a sweat lodge ceremony? It’s a way to connect us to mother earth and it allows us to cleanse, find balance, process emotions and receive teachings from an Elder. A sweat is all about you and what you need from it. All cultures are welcome.
The sweat lodge is located near Alexander First Nation. Rides for Terra participants and childcare for Braemar students are available. Everyone will enjoy a feast together after the ceremony.
Please RSVP with Teresa at TStrong@terracentre.ca or 780-466-1156 ext. 2.
We’re located at 9930 106 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta. We are open 8:30-4:30 Mon-Fri.
