Individual Support for Teenage Parents
Terra’s Family Outreach program offers short-term and long-term (up to five years) support to pregnant and parenting teen moms and expectant and parenting young dads.
We work with each client individually, discussing their options and tailoring support services to meet their specific needs and circumstances.
Some of the services we are able to offer include:
- Pre/Post-natal education and support
- Support with relationship issues
- Parenting education
- Advocacy and social support
- Assistance in securing financial support
- In-home parenting support
- Assistance securing childcare
- Clothes Closet (free gently used children’s clothing and accessories)
- Referrals to community agencies and health centres
Terra programs are available to:
- pregnant and parenting teen moms up to age 19
- expectant and parenting young dads up to age 24
